The day has finally arrived! My sister had her baby this morning after a very long and hard labor. He is so adorable! I can not wait to meet him! They are going to wait until he can fly and then come to Vegas for Christmas. That little boy is going to get so spoiled this Christmas :)

We did it!

We have been looking at houses for the las couple of weeks and we found one that we both loved. We walked in and both of us looked at each other and knew that this was the one we wanted. This was last Monday and we made an offer on the house! The seller accepted but it is a short sale, so now the bank has to approve it. I have been so anxious waiting for a response! We might not find out for a month or two but I really hope we get it. I can't wait to have our own house to do whatever we want to it! :)

Before and After

So I have kind of been obsessed with reading design sponge online and getting good ideas. Now that we are looking at houses I want to be able to have cute decorations! We have been staying at my grandpa's house and he has some really cool old furniture. I decided to try something different with the dining room chairs. I found the idea online and it was easier then I thought! I sanded down the chair, primed, then spray painted! Here are the before and after pics... I am really excited about my new chairs! I only did that one so far to see how it would look but I am going to finish the rest next week :)

I really have been loving this weather the last few days but I am really more of a summer kind of girl. So I have definitely been missing it! This last summer we were able to go on a family vacation to Cabo! We had never been and it was so much fun! We were only able to go for 3 days, but it was amazing. Now that summer is over and we are back to our daily routine, I am really missing my days in Cabo! Davis and I can't wait until next summer so we can hopefully go on another fun vacation!

So about three weeks ago I was on my way to church when I found a little dog running around the street. I had just passed a stop sign when he darted our in front of my car and I had to slam on my brakes to miss him. After about 45 minutes of trying to catch this little guy, Davis finally came and caught him in about 5 minutes. Go figure right! When we brought him home Lexi thought he was her new toy. She is loving having another little one to play with and he is such a good dog. I mean how could you not love this face??

Decisions

The next couple of months are going to be full of decisions for us. We have been really contemplating buying a house and I am seriously getting obsessed with it! We have been living at my grandparents house which has been so nice for us, but I am so ready for a change. I look at houses online everyday and I can't help but want one! It is such a good time to buy right now and I want a place that I can decorate and make our own. So today we went and looked at houses and I fell in love with this one! I know we aren't going to buy for a couple of months but isn't it so cute?? I can just keep dreaming I guess... In the meantime I have been really into design blogs. I went on design sponge the other day and I got so many cute ideas! You can spend hours on that site! I love it!

The people I miss the most ...

Since it made more sense for us to live in Vegas, I had to move away from my best friends. It was so sad to not spend everyday with them anymore :( Then all the sudden it seems like we are all either married, on missions, or just really busy with school and work. It is such a problem growing up :) I can't even tell these girls how much I miss them! I especially miss mine and Britt's burger supreme runs and Jackie's super cute clothes I would always borrow. At least I still have Lyssa to go to cafe rio and forever 21 with!

I caved...

So I finally caved and decided to start a blog! I am actually really excited because I think they are such a fun way to keep up with friends. Davis and I are currently in Las Vegas and are loving being so close to both of our families! Davis is going to school and I am working full time right now. We have two babies- our dogs :) Their names are Lexi and Rocket and they are our precious little angels :) This summer was so much fun! We were able to go to Cabo with my family and San Diego with just the two of us. My sister Mayce and her husband were also here for the summer and it was so much fun having her here! She is pregnant and her little man is due in December, so we are all so excited! Other then that I was finally able to finish school and get my degree in Public Relations. I thought the day would never come! So hopefully I will get a job soon in my field :) So that is what is going on in our lives as of late. I will really try to update this as much as I can, but I can't make any promises :))
